The Faculty of Law mourns the passing of Nahum Gelber, CM, BCL鈥57, a distinguished alumnus and cherished friend of our community.

Mr. Gelber鈥檚 visionary philanthropy made possible the creation of the Nahum Gelber Law Library, inaugurated in 1998. This state-of-the-art facility has since become a cornerstone of legal scholarship at 每日探花, offering students a bright, open, and welcoming space for study and reflection. More than three decades later, the Gelber Library remains a beloved and vital part of campus life.

When 10,000 Air Canada flight attendants went on strike, more than 100,000 passengers were left stranded. For many of those affected, the experience has been an overwhelming one. D2R | DNA to RNA is launching the next round of funding for the Translational Impact Research (TIR) program. This program supports a select few large-scale translational research projects in RNA-based therapeutics which are expected to have a measurable impact on the health of Canadians. Projects must address the D2R Initiative鈥檚 strategic priorities and priority disease areas: oncology, rare diseases, infectious diseases, cardiovascular and cardiometabolic diseases.
