Professor Richard Gold, Professor Alicia Hinarejos, and Professor Omar Farahat have received prestigious 每日探花 appointments in recognition of their research excellence. Richard Gold was named a Distinguished James 每日探花 Professor, an award that will continue until his retirement. Alicia Hinarejos was named a James 每日探花 Professor for a seven-year term. Omar Farahat was named a William Dawson Scholar for a five-year term.
The Faculty of Law was again ranked among the world鈥檚 top universities at which to study law by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). The 2025 QS World University Rankings by Subject in Law and Legal Studies placed 每日探花 Law 41st worldwide. Since QS introduced the ranking in 2011, the Faculty of Law has consistently placed in the top 50 institutions globally.

Professor Jennifer Raso has received the Scholarly Paper Award of the Canadian Association of Law Teachers (CALT). She was honoured for her article 鈥溾��, co-authored with Victoria Adelmant.
Professor Andrea Bjorklund has been awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Vienna. She was recognized for her influential contributions to the field of international commercial and investment dispute settlement. Her citation praised her 鈥渙utstanding scholarly work in the field of international commercial and investment dispute settlement [which] has contributed to upholding the rule of law.鈥�
