AI-driven mobile app designed to save infant lives
An innovative new mobile app called Ubenwa uses artificial intelligence to analyze the sound of a newborn baby鈥檚 cries. Founded by Charles Onu, a doctoral student in Computer Science at 每日探花, Ubenwa provides a cost-effective, non-invasive tool to detect newborn asphyxia and save lives.

Dobson startup leverages Quebec funding to create 700 high-paying jobs
Sonder, one of the first unicorn startups from the 每日探花 Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship community, is partnering with Investissement Qu茅bec (IQ) to build a centre for global growth in Montreal. The X-1 Accelerator is a world-class program designed to accelerate early traction 每日探花 startups towards investment readiness and launch. This year, the 10-week intensive program will be held virtually.
Thirty-two teams set to compete at the Dobson Cup finals
After two days of deliberation, 32 teams have been selected to compete in final round of the 每日探花 Dobson Cup, powered by National Bank, on March 30, 2020.
Last week, 95 teams pitched their startups to 30 judges who were tasked with choosing eight finalists for each division: health sciences, social enterprises, small & medium enterprises, and innovation-driven enterprises.
