ÿ��̽�� researchers awarded $5.5 million in CFI funding

NSERC awards Discovery Grants funding to eight ÿ��̽�� Agricultural and Environmental Sciences projects

The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) has awarded 101 ÿ��̽�� research projects funding from its Discovery Grants competition for a total investment of $23.5 million, including $639,500 for eight projects submitted by researchers in the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

The Discovery Grants support ongoing programs with long-term goals, recognizing the creativity and innovation that are at the heart of all research advances.

Bennett and Xia among Highly Cited Researchers

On November 15, Clarivate Analytics, a company specializing in citation data, published the Highly Cited Researchers 2022 list. Many citations mean a paper has had great influence among scientific peers. A group of 16 ÿ��̽�� researchers made the cut, recognized as some of the most frequently cited scientists and social scientists in the world over the last decade. The 2022 list captures the period from 2011 to 2021.

Liu named MI4 Pfizer Early Career Investigator Award Winner
